Information regarding outbreak of Coronavirus

Greetings,

First of all, we would like to thank you for your interest for the 6th International ICCC 2020 Cold Chain Conference to be held in Nantes (France).

Due to the coronavirus crisis and the containment decided by the French government, the organizing committee had to postpone the conference originally scheduled from April 15 to 17, 2020.

We are happy to inform you that the new dates have been validated by the organizing committee. ICCC 2020 will take place from August 26 to 28, 2020.

We would like to inform you of the arrangements we are implementing to ensure the smooth running of the conference. Due to the new health measures imposed by COVID-19, the conference will be organised taking into consideration the following constraints that can be adapted according to the situation:

  • The venue is large enough to respect physical distancing in exchange areas and in the conference and reception rooms.
  • Wearing a mask will be mandatory for all conference participants. For those who do not have a mask, one will be provided at the entrance.
  • In the congress hall, all aspects required to ensure the safety of congress participants will be put in place (floor markings, hand sanitiser dispensers, masks, disinfection of equipment, etc.) in accordance with the general protocol set up by the organisers of trade fairs and congresses.
  • In addition to the conference, exhibitions and other activities planned in the programme (technical visits, gala dinner, etc.) will be arranged to respect all sanitary measures and open spaces will be privileged.
  • A videoconferencing system will be set up for simultaneous remote broadcasting of presentations so that participants and speakers who cannot travel to France because of restrictive measures taken locally in their countries, can participate.

The organisation committee, in collaboration with the Cité des Congrès in Nantes, has therefore taken all possible measures to ensure a quality conference by respecting the health protection protocol and the recommended safety distances.

In order to organise the event correctly, we thank you in advance for registering, specifying if some constraints already prohibit you from physically attending the conference at the end of August and if you should participate remotely.

We remain at your disposal for any questions.

Best regards

The ICCC 2020 Organizing Committee
